It’s alive! It’s aliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive!
Sorry for the text theatrics but I am quite ecstatic that, to my surprise, my a1200 is working again! This would be the 3rd time the phone has started working again after it had, well, stopped working.
While in Vietnam, I turned off my phone for whatever reason and it did not turn back on. At that point I thought she was a goner. I took it to a nearby cell shop and they said it took too much damage due to being dropped and liquids. It sounded like all was lost. I wasn’t even able to get my phone back before leaving Vietnam!
Fortunately, I was able to get my dad to bring it back to California from Vietnam and then have my brother transport it from the Bay to Vegas. I don’t know what happened since I left Vietnam but my phone is working again! Just when I submitted myself to a marketing promotion that spams the crap out of me in order to get a new one too. Oh well. I do get NetFlix now.
Unfortunately, the new housing I had ordered for my phone before I had left to Vietnam never arrived. Since I got my phone back I thought I’d look into it. While trying to find the email address of the person I bought the new housing from I uncovered that the primary shipping address on my ebay account goes to my old apartment in Monterey Park! WTF! I guess when I ordered it I changed the shipping address in my paypal account but not my ebay account. How whack is that? Oh well. In a long shot I called my old apartment to see if they still had the package. They said no. Oh well. Hopefully, my wonderful friend Esther will be able to find a new housing for me when she’s back in China and then I’ll be more reassured that I’ll get it this time! Thanks Esther! =)
All and all I have no complaints. I got my phone back and it’s working. Plus, I won’t have to worry about getting a new phone until there’s actually a worthwhile phone to get. No more contemplating the iPhone 3G! Woo Hoo!
All I gotta say is WATCH THE GUILD! I didn’t get to spend too much time at Comic Con but it was very fun nonetheless! I set out to achieve one goal and that was to see the cast of The Guild. If you have not seen it yet go to watchtheguild.com or you can check out their show on youtube. Felicia Day writes and acts in it and Jeff Lewis also acts as their guild leader. Much awesome hilarity ensues. Also, if you have not seen it yet, check out Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog. Only $4 from itunes. Well worth it!
Aside from hangin out with Mega Man

There was plenty to eat

and plenty to drink

Cheers to B. Feeny and Sydney for giving Luke and I a place to crash!

My head still hurts. Took in so much information on wholesaling this weekend that I still haven’t recovered. On top of a long drive back to Vegas from San Diego it’s no wonder why I slept most the day. San Diego was an awesome location for the class too! Great weather all weekend and I met a lot of great people. In any case it was a very good class and I should get things started this week. I want to take advantage of the momentum and excitement of the class. Hopefully I can at least get somethings started while trying to take care of my real estate situation in Vegas. Key lesson of the weekend: Build your Network.
I guess this is what a “going out of business” sale is like.
I’ve been saying that the Vegas market will turn around at the end of 2008 since 2008 began!
And now it’s starting to look like my prediction is coming true!
I don’t mean to suggest that I have any insight or anything.
If anything I’m just lucky that the market is actually starting to turn around.
What this means is that Vegas has been at the bottom of the barrel all year.
With so many foreclosures and REO’s Vegas has turned into a clearance sale!
However, there’s no such thing as a free lunch.
So in order for there to be such a deal there has to be someone losing money.
In this case, many many people have already lost money.
Unfortunately for me, I have to get in line to deal with lenders too.
On the bright side though, this opens up a lot of opportunities for those who want to invest in their future.
So for anyone looking on moving for a new start or anyone looking to make an investment,
Vegas is on sale.
Happy shopping.
That’s all.
I just wanted to inform the world that it started raining in Las Vegas about 30 min ago.
And that it felt really good to stand in the rain for a little bit.
It’s been a stressful day so it was a very pleasant surprise to notice that it had started raining.
Put a big dorky smile on my face!

Very unexpected since it’s been real hot lately.
Even going outside there were big patches of sky between the rain clouds.
In any case, I’m glad it rained.
Standing in the rain always feels like my worries are being washed away.
I hope everyone else has had an equally pleasant evening.
Cheers!
